‘The Serenity Trust’ organised a full-day special field trip on 4th April 2024, for Jeevantirth’s educators and volunteers on “Water Birds of Bhal Area”.
Bhal is an area of Gujarat where we can find ‘Saras Crane’ and many more Migratory Birds during this season because of wetlands and rice fields.
Our Mentor and Guide was ex-Forest Officer, expert naturalist and bird-lover Shri Uday Vora Ji. There were enough binoculars and pair of spotting scopes for 40 participants to have a closer look of the small & big, colourful but shy water birds. The trip ended with the joyful boat-ride in the Kaneval Lake.
