Partnerships / Collaboration
 
Acharya Vinoba Bhave, direct disciple of Gandhiji used to say that real test of spirituality is to work together. Some one has rightly explained TEAM as “Together Everyone Achieves More”. Over the years we at Jeevantirth try to collaborate with other like minded NGOs and work in partnership for various projects.
 
In addition to the partnership projects, Jeevantirth took various responsibilities of the projects of different organizations so that our expertise is readily available to them.
 
Some of the partnership projects, collaborations and shared responsibilities are given below.
 
Anubandh Shala - Education through Correlation program was implemented on behalf of “Ahmadabad Community Foundation” in Ahmadabad for two years. Similar program was financed by “Sadbhav Foundation” in Mangrol of Junagadh district.
 
Vacation Shala – Vacation School in 120 villages of Kutch was successfully completed with the help of students of 20 High Schools run by “Saraswatam” during the summer vacation of 2008 in memory of the birth centenary year of its founder Tulshidasbhai Sheth.
 
Raju Deepti has also agreed to work as Honorary Secretary of the Saraswatam Trust.
 
Taru Mitra, Gujarat – Jeevantirth is an active founder member of the forum, Friends of Trees, Gujarat.
 
Pravahis a network of NGOs working in the fields of Drinking Water and Sanitation. Jeevantirth as an institute and Raju Deepti as a person are life members of Pravah. Raju also worked as a Coordinator of Pravah for two years.
 
Jeevantirth is strong partner in the Dediapada Tribal Development Project initiated by “St. Xavier’s College Society, Ahmadabad”.
 
Raju Deepti is a President of “Khadi Gramodhyog Kamdar Sangh” working in the field of Khadi and Cottage Industries. Deepti Raju is also trustee in it. KGKS mainly works in the draught prone area of Radhanpur, district Patan.
 
Deepti Raju is trustee in “Lok Mitra” trust working from Dhedhuki, Jasdan in the field of Rural Development under the leadership of dedicated couple Chaitanya and Sonal.
 
Raju Deepti also works as a Field Director in “St. Xavier’s Social Service Society” Ahmadabad from April 2009. SXSSS is working with Urban Poor in the fields of Education, Health, Women’s Self Help Groups, Lively Hood Program for Girls, Youth Empowerment, Community Based Organizations with right based approach.
 
“Gram Nirman Kelavni Trust” – Thava is working in the field of education in the Tribal area of Bharuch District of Gujarat. Jeevantirth is involved in Quality Improvement Program initiated by Mumbai Group of Friends.
