As part of their foundation programme at IIT-Gandhinagar, students go through various training and workshops throughout their course. This year they had workshops of Warli art, painting, basic photography, juggling, theater, sculpture etc. They call experts in various subjects and expose the students to their faculties.
For the workshop of Origami – Japanese art of paper folding – they called Jeevantirth’s Raju and Deepti. The students got involved in Origami and learned basics of the art. They made models like swan, rabbit, jumping frog and crane etc.
