Participation in AISEC Program

100 young students from United States, China, Nagaland, Thailand and India volunteered in a program organized by AIESEC on 3rd August 2015. 1000 children participated in the event, 500 of which were from Jeevantirth. The event provided the volunteers with a chance to interact with slum children, the kids too found this new exposure to be exciting.

Activities such as dancing, drawing competition, storytelling, etc. were carried out with equal participation of kids and youth. In order to help children with their studies AISEC awarded scholarships of 10,000 to rupees to 9 students who won the painting competition.

This money helped each student obtain necessary stationary and study material for one academic year.
